T.J. Jourian is an independent scholar, consultant, and trainer with Trans*Formational Change. As a faculty member in higher education and student affairs, his experience spans LGBTQ+ life, residential life, women's center work, and multicultural affairs. His research and advocacy interests center on queer and trans people of color, with particular attention to masculinity, transness, and racialization; campus gender and sexuality centers and practitioners; and trans*ing constructs and methodologies.
Aydin Olson-Kennedy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Executive Director at the Los Angeles Gender Center. He is a national expert in the mental care of transgender and non-binary youth and their parents. Olson-Kennedy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, with areas of focus in multi-cultural and gender studies, sociology, and social work. In 2013, he completed his Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Chico.
Johanna Olson-Kennedy, MD is a physician at Keck School of Medicine of USC and the Medical Director of The Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, the largest transgender youth clinic in the United States. Olson-Kennedy is a national expert in medical intervention for transgender youth and young adults including puberty suppression and cross sex hormones.
Carl Streed Jr. is an Assistant Professor in the Boston University School of Medicine. As the Research Lead for the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery at Boston Medical Center he collaborates with researchers, clinicians, and staff to assess and achieve equity in the health and well-being of transgender and gender diverse individuals.
