We are excited you are considering submitting a presentation proposal for the 2023 LGBTQ+ Health Care Conference!
Presentation Proposal Deadline
Sunday, December 18, 2022, 11:59 pm ET
2023 Theme: Resiliency, Intersectionality, and Emerging Challenges in LGBTQ+ Health Care
As we’ve witnessed the LGBTQ+ health care landscape become more turbulent in recent years, this conference is our opportunity to listen, strategize and collaborate with each other. We must have conversations that center LGBTQ+ voices and conversations that examine the role that systemic racism and institutional barriers contribute to health inequities for LGBTQ+ people in America.
How can we dismantle these systems, remove responsibility from the oppressed, and truly work to alleviate inequity?
What makes a good presentation proposal?
We welcome a variety of proposal types including oral presentations, workshops, panels, and posters.
Proposals may be submitted by individuals or groups and we value both professional and lived experiences. If applicable, content should be evidence-based.
Presentations should be by people who support the wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ community and should be geared towards an audience of medical professionals, community members, community leaders, and patients.
